Foundation Trainee Pharmacist National Recruitment Scheme

Trainees undertaking their foundation training in the 2025 - 2026 training year should commence their training on a suitable date, agreed with their employer, within the Summer window: 14 July 2025 to 4 August 2025.

In exceptional circumstances only, trainees may commence their training in the Autumn window: 20 October 2025 to 10 November 2025.

Registration for employers is closed and will be open for the 2027-28 Foundation Training year in January 2026.

Applications for the 2026-27 Foundation Trainee Pharmacist training year is now closed. Preferencing will open on 23 July and closed 23 October.

Students will need to book their numeracy/SJT assessments with Pearson VUE during the booking window which is 30 July - 1 August. Assessments are held between 18 Sept - 1 October. More information is available in the handbook below.
