Research and evaluation skills are essential for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working at all stages of their career.

elearning for healthcare Research, Audit and Quality Improvement programme
The elfh Research, Audit and Quality Improvement programme is open to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians involved in research, audit and quality improvement. The two modules available introduce the learner to a variety of topics pertinent to clinical research, audit and quality improvement undertaken by the NHS and its academic partners.
Health Education England (HEE) & National Institute for Health and care Research (NIHR) Integrated Clinical and Practitioner Academic (ICA) Programme
The HEE/NIHR Integrated Clinical and Practitioner Academic (ICA) Programme provides a range of research training awards for health and social care professionals who wish to develop careers that combine research and research leadership with continued practice and professional development.
National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) & Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) – Research and Learning Programme
NIHR provides research e-learning modules in partnership with Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to improve research awareness and skills.
You do not need to be a member of the RPS to access this training.
Pharmacy Research UK
Pharmacy Research UK fund research projects and individual bursaries to pharmacy staff to help develop research skills across the pharmacy sector. Offers include funding for individuals to complete PhDs and bursaries to support research projects.
